A Day in the Life of a Senior Repair Technician at nuCamp

What does a senior repair technician do at nuCamp? The day begins by dropping off lunch, heading to the desk for paperwork, calls, or emails, then unlocking the toolbox and pulling up the repair schedule on an iPad. Every job is different — and each trailer that comes in is repaired from start to finish by a single technician, which means real ownership over the work.

After diagnosing and repairing internal issues and replacing broken parts, the exterior gets attention too — air pressure checks, brakes, tires, and any mechanical work underneath the camper. As the senior technician, part of the role involves leading other technicians through the day and walking them through unfamiliar repairs. One final all-around inspection confirms the camper is ready before it gets towed out of the garage for customer pickup.
