Through a combination of public and private funds. Currently, we are primarily funded through grants, and we are looking into other funding options to sustain our growth.

Currently, TEAM Tuscarawas only serves Tuscarawas County; but as we grow we will continue to look at partnership opportunities in nearby counties to serve a wider audience.

Yes! There are multiple programs for workforce development at the state and local levels to include grants, tax credits, and state funding programs. Become a member to access our evolving registry of available offerings.

TEAM Tuscarawas offers multiple services to help with this. You can schedule a school tour, participate in a job fair, host a job shadow student, create an internship, participate in the summer manufacturing camp, or just attend a meeting to make some contacts in the schools.

There are many options available to include free services through Ohio Means Jobs and paid options such as Indeed. Research indicates that Indeed is still the best way to reach the most people. Regardless of what posting site you use, our partners can share the job postings here.

The first step is education/training, whether that be higher education through Kent State University, career technical education through Buckeye Career Center, or on the job training through one of our local manufacturers. Many employers in Tuscarawas County are willing to invest in the education of their employees who show up and work hard consistently.

Endorsed by the Ohio Manufacturers’ Association (OMA), we bring together industry leaders, educators, and community partners to solve workforce challenges and promote high-paying careers in our region.

By centralizing the "industry voice," we reduce "partnership fatigue" for employers and provide a clear roadmap for educators to align their training programs with real-world jobs.

Team Tuscarawas is designed to be efficient. We host regular quarterly meetings with plans of offer specialized working groups focused on specific projects like "Manufacturing Tuscarawas." You choose the level of involvement that fits your schedule.

Our region is a hub for advanced manufacturing, including hydraulics, rubber extrusion, chemical manufacturing, and electric vehicle (EV) components. Roles range from precision metal fabrication and CNC machining to engineering, welding, robotics, and industrial management.

"Earn-and-Learn" allows you to get paid while you gain professional credentials. Through partnerships with local career technical education providers, many of our member companies offer apprenticeships and internships where you gain on-the-job experience alongside your education.

We provide educators with direct access to industry requirements. This ensures that the certificates and degrees offered by local institutions—from high school vocational programs to Bachelor of Science degrees—directly translate into local employment opportunities. We also connect schools with local businesses to help place students in work based learning programs and jobs.

No. While we work closely with the Ohio Department of Development and the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation, we are an independent, employer-led initiative supported by the Tuscarawas County Economic Development Corporation (TCEDC).
