A Day in the Life of a Quality Engineer at Boltaron
What does a quality engineer do for a living? The day starts by sitting at a desk and checking emails, then heading out to a workstation on the production floor to review product. The core responsibility is inspecting finished goods for defects to prevent non-conforming products from being shipped to customers.
No two days are exactly alike — there is always a new problem to solve. Throughout the day, the quality engineer walks to the extrusion line to review forms from previous shifts and follows up with line operators about any issues. The role also involves regular interaction with customers and sales representatives to understand exactly where the product ends up being used.
