A Day in the Life of a Forklift Operator at Freeport Press

What does a forklift operator do at Freeport Press? The day starts with clocking in at the login scanner, then heading straight to the forklift for a full safety check — gas, oil, and a walk-around inspection to make sure the machine is safe to operate.

From there, it's nonstop pallet movement across the factory floor. Finished product comes from packaging and gets moved to shipping, while product ready for wrapping goes to the wrapping machine. This role builds real versatility and people skills — there are a lot of moving parts at Freeport Press, and the forklift operator is responsible for keeping production flowing efficiently and productively throughout the day.
