Four-Tier Manufacturing Career Pathway

A stackable credential pathway developed jointly by Buckeye Career Center and Kent State University at Tuscarawas, designed so workers can enter at any level and advance over time while continuing to work. The pathway begins with a non-credit Industrial Maintenance Fundamentals certificate (Tier 1), moves to an 18-credit short-term certificate (Tier 2), then an Associate of Applied Science degree (Tier 3), and culminates in a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (Tier 4). This is one of the most complete earn-and-advance pathways available to Tuscarawas County workers.
